Current title graphic.

Past title graphics:

This one was knocked up whilst we were in a state of eyecandylessness brought about by the purchase of a new computer. Quite pleased with it though.

This started life as a banner to mark Dirk's second birthday. It became clear, however, that there would be just too many months! So we left it at twenty-two and used it for Christmas 2007.

This photo was taken in the Sports Centre foyer and stippled in Paint Shop Pro. The text (and bevel) was added in Fireworks 8 and colour-matched with Dirk's lips.

This photograph was taken in St Albans in September 2007. The balloon was originally yellow, but was changed to red by accident during editing. It looked so much nicer we kept it.

Quite pleased with the titles here. Sadly, I lack the skill to remove Dirk's awful hat and dopey expression!

This one was a lot more work that it suggests. If I did it again, I'd clean up the background before doing the colour filter. I think all that crap on the shelves is too distracting.

One of my own favourites, if for no better reason than it looks like the work of somebody else.

This one's just about devoid of artistic merit. Even the cunning inclusion of an earlier graphic was a bit ham-fisted.

A bit of a design departure. Boffo.

The original "Heart of Dirkness" title. Shamelessly stolen from Ozzy Osbourne.

Technically, this one's a materpiece. The finished thing is rather naff though. And the aspect ratio was ill-conceived.

This one was never actually used, for the usual reasons: Acceptable graphics but poor photo.

I don't think we ever actually used this one. The photo was lovely as far as it went... but I'd managed to chop of Dirk's chin!

One of my favourites, despite the sad face. A slightly different process was used on the original image to arrive at the post-gothic poster here.

The really quite wonderful photo was taken by accident and then changed with a single click in Photoshop. So, virtually no credit to me at all for one of the best graphics here!

These last were done long before Dirk's site migrated from mytinybaby.com to blogger.com. So while they were never used as title graphics on the blog, this is the most appropriate page to show them.
