Granny came to visit today. Dirk showed her how to cuddle Jasper properly.

Dirk slept most of the afternoon. Here he is, momentarily awake in the Arndale.

Dirk, Jasper, Mummy and Daddy all went to the Sports Centre to meet Connor from his badminton lesson. Dirk had a mooch while they waited.











Back home, Dirk is almost overcome by life's wonderfulness...

The Agony and the Ecstasy

Dirk is a quiet baby. Dirk has learned no fireworks will come whether he cries or not.

Bang Bang Kiss Kiss

Tonight there was a fireworks display in the park just down the road. When the noise started, Dirk ran gibbering to Daddy. But when Daddy held him up to see out of the window, Dirk started pointing and shouting with glee. Afterwards, Dirk spent the rest of the evening asking for more!

Hospital

Aunt Sarah took care of Dirk today. He had a wonderful time. She brought him a present: A set of lovely hand-puppets. When we have enough personnel to operate them and a camera, we'll publish some pictures.

"This evening I went to hospital to play with a balloon. It was lovely and had BABY printed on it. Granny and Grandad were there and very pleased to see me. I stomped about a lot and had a laugh swinging on Mummy's catheter bag. You should have seen me! I was the life and soul of the party!"
